1 when have you start Kurt and why?....the little story..please!!!

we started kurt because it was fucking boring in the small village we were living. there was no way to get it loud and heavy except to do it by yourself.

2 why X mist (or now Nova) and not an another records label in germany? what is your relation (ship) with armin X mist?

Armin and Ute are my personal record dealers since I know about good music ... so because they made me addicted to this heavy drug they have to deal with the results. ...apart from that x-mist is and was the only label we wanted to be on.

3 what's new on this new lp of Kurt? recording, sound, songwritting...

well, the guy that recorded us this time is a noise rock (and Kurt) fan and knows how to record such music. plus the song writing is more to the core. we didn't want to write songs over 3 minutes plus they should rock. we like it. it rocks.

4 what is the difference between Kurt and 10volt shock, today and in the future?

tenvoltshock is the counterpart to Kurt. kurt is just able to practice from time to time (about every 3 months), because we live so far away of each other. but I need a regular dose of rock, let's say every two weeks or I will go under and die like an earthworm without moisture. so for me it's the same thing, it's the two others that make the difference.

5 how is born 10volt shock?

it began in a time when we were hardly playing with Kurt and me and my friend Markus began to play late night rock in an old train station basement in Freiburg...we started to practice about 3 in the night until after the sunrise... it was always awesome to leave the basement and look into the sun. then Mario joined us and we started to practice serious and a little bit earlier.

6 what do you do (work, pass time...) outside of the music?

I hung around, worked part time, studied and played music for about 7 years, now I started to do something serious. I am teaching at a primary and secondary school.

7 what represents for you to be in the punk rock scene during all this year, and today?

I think it's all about living an alternative life apart from the mainstream plus listening to extraordinary not cooperating music.

8 are there some projects for Kurt and 10volt for the next months

we plan on a France - KURT Tour in October plus on a TenVoltShock Tour at the end of August. Help us.

your question: ...is it a religion?

and his answer....yes it is!
